Attach Documents to Data Records

You can attach documents to data records using the Attachment form, DM Attachment Index Search, DM Transaction Attachments, or by dragging and dropping a document (including MS Outlook emails) directly onto a form.

Typically when you bring documents into the system, you will want to attach them to relevant data records. For example, you might attach an original invoice to the corresponding Accounts Payable transaction record.

Note: When adding a document via drag and drop, the document is attached to the current record on the displayed form. This feature works only on forms that support attachments.
