Move a Custom Form

Once you have created and saved a custom form, you can move it from the UD Programs folder to another location that best suits the form’s context.

For example, if you create a "Vehicle Master" form, the best location for it might be in the EM folder.

To move a custom form:

  1. Determine where you want the custom form to be. You can place custom forms in root folders for each module, but not in the standard subfolders. However, you can create custom folders within each module. Additionally, you can create custom folders within the subfolders associated with the My Viewpoint or active company folders. An original copy of the form remains in the UD Programs folder.
  2. Click and drag the form from the User Database menu to the appropriate folder in the left-hand pane of the Main Menu. A copy of the form moves to the new location, and the original copy of the form remains in the UD Programs folder.
  3. You can delete custom forms from the new location by selecting the form icon and selecting the Delete button. This removes the form icon, but does not delete the custom form.
