Field Definitions: PR Pay Stub Notify Form
The following is a list of field descriptions for the PR Pay Stub Notify form. Many of the descriptions include links to other topics that provide additional information about or related to the topic.
The Pay Seq field on the PR Pay Stub Notify form.
Enter the payment sequence for which you are are sending notifications. Press F4 to see a list of available pay sequences for the current payroll group and pay period.
The Notify options section of the PR Pay Sub Notify form.
Select the notification option to use for sending emails:
Notify All – Select this radio button to send a notification to all employees in the specified payroll group and associated pay period.
Notify Employee – Select this radio button to send a notification to a specific employee. When you select this option, the system enables the Employee field.

Enter employee to which you are emailing pay stub information or leave blank to send pay stub information to all employees. Press F4 to select from a list of valid employees.
The From field on the PR Pay Stub Notify form.
Enter the sender's email address or leave blank to use the System email address specified when configuring Vista to send emails (in the Viewpoint Configuration form, Services tab). For more information, see Configure Vista to Send Emails.
The Subject field on the PR Pay Stub Notify form.
Enter a subject line for this email message. The character allowance is virtually unlimited; however, you may want to keep the subject line brief, but descriptive.
The Body text box on the PR Pay Stub Notify form.
Enter the message that will appear in the body of the email. Character allowance is virtually unlimited.
If you are using the Rich Text format for the email body (default format), you can format your text using the toolbar options, add standard notes (by right clicking the mouse and selecting Standard Notes) and run a spell check (by clicking the button in the toolbar).
If you selected the Use plain text format check box, no formatting is available.
Use Plain Text Format
The Use Plain Text Format check box on the PR Pay Stub Notify form.
Select this check box to use plain text formatting for your email message. Leave unselected to use Rich Text format (default format).
The Attachments section of the PR Pay Stub Notify form.
Use this section to add any stand-alone attachments you wish to include in the email. You can add attachments using one of the following methods:
Drag the document(s) from your desktop or from any folder on your system using Windows Explorer and drop them in the Attachments box or anywhere on the form. No matter where you drop them, they will appear in the Attachments box.
Click the Add Attachment icon () in the form toolbar and select the desired document(s) from the file selection window.
If you need to delete an attachment, select the attachment from the list and press the Delete key.
