Set an Employee to Receive W-2s and 1095s via Email

You can designate whether an employee has consented to receive W-2s and/or 1095s via email.

Designating whether an employee has consented to receive W-2s and/or 1095s via email determines how Aatrix will handle delivery of W-2s for the employee. The settings defined in PR Employees default for the employee records in PR W-2 Employee Edit and PR ACA 1095-C Employee, but may be overridden as needed for the selected tax year/employee.
  1. From the Main Menu, select Payroll > Programs > PR Employees.
  2. In the Employee field, enter the employee to work with or press F4 to select from a list of valid employees.
  3. Click on the Info tab.
  4. In the Email field, enter a valid email address for the employee.
  5. Click on the Add'l Info tab.
  6. If the employee consented to receive their W-2s via email, select the W-2 Email Consent check box.
  7. If the employee consented to receive their 1095s via email, select the 1095 Email Consent check box.
  8. Click Save.
The employee can now receive W-2s and/or 1095s via email; however, you may override this setting during year-end processing of W-2s and 1095s.
