Equipment on a job site may sometimes become temporarily inactive.

This may be because the equipment is not currently required for the work being performed or perhaps has been sent to a shop for repair or maintenance. This inactivity is generally not considered billable. In order to exclude this inactivity when posting usage, you can use EM Locations to set up these non-billable conditions as locations. Then use EM Location Transfer to transfer the equipment from a job with no location to the same job with an inactive location. When posting usage, you can exclude these locations from the billing process, yet maintain the ability to track the location of the equipment to the job.
