Updating a batch is the process that takes each batch entry and makes all the necessary transaction updates.

This may involve posting transactions to other modules as well as in EM. The following is a list of the updates that occur when you post an EM batch.

• GL Interface Adjust – Indicates the update level for cost adjustment transactions as specified on the Adjustments tab in EM Company Parameters.

• GL Interface Usage – Indicates the update level for equipment usage transactions as specified on the Usage tab in EM Company Parameters. 

• GL Interface Part – Indicates the update level for parts posting as specified on the Parts tab in EM Company Parameters.

When you are ready to process the batch, enter the posting date and click the Post button. Once the update is complete, the batch is closed.
