Tickets are used to enter and process sales of materials to customers, jobs, and inventory.
Material Sales provides you with two methods of ticket entry:
Manual – Tickets are entered by hand in MS Ticket Entry. Many of the fields in the ticket entry form may automatically default to standard data stored in Material Sales, Inventory, Headquarters, Accounts Receivable, Job Cost, and/or Equipment Management files.
Automatic – Automatic entry can only be used if your company currently uses a PC scale package. First, data from your PC text files is uploaded to the Material Sales system using the Imports module (IM). Within IM, the imported records can be edited for missing or incorrect detail, then uploaded into Material Sales. Tickets can then be edited further, if necessary, in MS Ticket Entry, then processed as normal.
