About the PM Request For Quote Copy Form
Use this form to copy an existing RFQ. This can save you time when creating a new RFQ that is similar to an existing one. Using this feature you can copy an RFQ to a different project, or to the same project.
The copy feature will copy everything on the RFQ except the following:

Contacts on the Distribution tab

Changes orders associated with the RFQ using the Related Items feature - These are the change orders that display on the Change Orders tab on the PM Request For Quotes form.
Follow the steps below to copy an RFQ.
- Open the RFQ that you want to copy in the PM Request For Quote form.
- Select using the toolbar at the top of the form. This will open the PM Request For Quote Copy.
Using a PM Work Center
You can also launch the PM Request For Quote Copy form from the PM Work Center. To do this, open a PM Work Center, select
, highlight the RFQ to copy, and then click the Tasks () icon and select Copy RFQ.
- The RFQ field will populate with the RFQ that was selected in the PM Request For Quote form. Press F4 in this field if you want to select a different RFQ.
- Use the Project field to select the project where the new RFQ will be created. This field allows you to copy an RFQ to a different project if needed.
- Use the RFQ field to enter the RFQ number that will be created. By default this field will populate with the next available RFQ number on the project. Press F4 in this field to see a list of existing RFQs on the project.
- The description of the new RFQ will display in the Description field. By default this field will populate with the description of the RFQ being copied, but you can change it if necessary.
- Click OK when complete to create the new
RFQ.
