Edit a Widget

Once you have created a custom widget, using either the Create or Duplicate method, you can edit the widget even after it has been added to a dashboard.

Note: When you edit a custom widget you can change anything about the widget except the widget template. If you need to use a different widget template, create a new widget that uses the desired template.
  1. Locate the widget you want to edit in your Widget Library. You can search for a widget by typing the widget name in the Search field, filter by category, or filter for all custom widgets by selecting Type > My Widgets.
  2. Select the More options button on the right side of the widget, and then select Edit to open the Edit a Widget page.
  3. From the Edit a Widget page, on the General step, you can edit the Widget Details as follows.
    • Widget Name: Enter a name for the Widget. This text appears as the title of the widget.
    • Widget Icon: Select an icon from the dropdown menu. If you want to filter for icons that conform to the Trimble Modus design system, select the Modus option.

Note that the widget template cannot be changed.
