How Active Field Service Users are Counted

Active Field Service users have access to the Field Service module.

Find User counts

If active user counts are higher than the number of licensed users, you can adjust user access to modules. The Portal Settings page (Admin > Portal Settings > Portal Info) shows a current count of active users. If a user is given access to the HR Timecard through Field Service, that counts toward your HR Management licenses, unless the user already has an active license via another HR Management module.

Review or Adjust User Counts

To review or adjust user counts, select Admin > User Access.

Employees who have a checkbox next to their name for the Field Service module or Service Manager Dashboard will be counted as an active Field Service user.
  • If the active Field Service user count is higher than you expect, you can deselect the Field Service checkbox for employees who should not have access.
  • If the active HR Management user count is higher than you expect, you can deselect the HR Timecard checkbox for employees who should not have this access through Field Service, if applicable, or review user counts for the HR Management module.

Audit User Counts

For a full audit of who has access to modules, review the License Count Report. To generate this report, select Export License Report from the Portal Settings page (Admin > Portal Settings > Portal Info).
