Field Management Highlights

The following customer suggestions were added in this release. For a list of defect corrections, see the Issues Fixed page.

  • Job Approval
    • Service line types will now route for approval through Job Approval even if they are not tied to a job. If there is a reviewer on the SM Work Order in Vista, time is routed to that reviewer. If not, time is routed to the reviewer on the SM Service Center in Vista. See Configure Job Approval and Review Timecards in Job Approval for more information.

Note: In order to use Job Approval, the Job Approval Enabled check box must be selected in Grid Timecard Settings. Job Approval users must have access to FM Grid Time on the User Access page. This consumes a Field Management license if the user is not already assigned to a Field Management module.
  • Crew Timecards

    • Timecard reports now include all line types. Previously, timecard reports showed only job and overhead lines.
    • When filtering by Crew, selecting to Unsubmit All time will unsubmit only the timecard lines for employees selected in the multi-select Employee drop-down.

    • Crew and Employee filter selections are now retained after saving a timecard.

Note: In order to use Job Approval, the Job Approval Enabled check box must be selected in Grid Timecard Settings. Job Approval users must have access to FM Grid Time on the User Access page. This consumes a Field Management license if the user is not already assigned to a Field Management module.
