A static virtual container contains static references to items from different containers, allowing you to manage these items from a single location. A static virtual container displays only one specific revision of items and does not automatically update if there is a revision.

You must manually update the container by clicking Check for Updates in the configuration window for the container.

If you want to keep the items in a static virtual container as a snapshot in time, instead of updating the container, you can create a new revision of it.
