Add Non-Elective Benefits to Employees

Benefits with liability amounts often are not available for employees to elect in the Benefits module.

However, you can create an HR Benefit Group in Vista to use only for benefit codes with liabilities. These non-elective benefits apply to all members of a group.
  1. In Vista, select Human Resources > Programs > HR Benefit Codes.
  2. Select the Benefit Codes tab, and add the benefit codes for every employee regardless of an election.


  3. In Vista, select Human Resources > Programs > HR Benefit Initialization.
  4. Enter the Benefit Group from Vista.
  5. Enter an Effective Date.
    Note: This date is when the benefit begins.
  6. Select Initialize.
