Reopen an Issue

As a project editor, you can reopen a closed issue, in order to account for errors, or correct changes that are not considered revisions by going to Projects > Issues > More > Reopen.

Once you reopen an issue, you can edit it. See Edit an Issue.
  1. From the home page, under Projects, select the name of the project you want to open.
Alternatively, go to the main menu in the upper left-hand corner, select Projects, and then select the name of the project you want to open.
The Dashboard for the project appears.
  2. Click the Issues tab.
  3. Click on the issue number of the closed issue you want to reopen.
Note: The issue number appears in blue text and becomes underlined when you mouse over it.
    The Issue page appears.
  4. Click the More button in the upper right corner and select Reopen.

    The Reopen Issue window appears.

  5. Select one of the following states for the reopened issue:
    • Draft
    • Open
    • Assigned
    • Responded
Note: If you select Open, Assigned or Responded as an issue state, you can edit both the Responsible Party and Assign To fields, so that the appropriate team members are notified of the reopened issue. See Issue Process and Assign an Issue.
  6. (Optional) In the Comment field, add a comment as to why you are reopening the issue.
  7. Click Reopen.
The issue appears in the reopened state selected for it.
