Use the Grid tab to view the existing, proposed, and substrata layers of a job site in a grid and calculate the cut and fill quantities for each grid cell.

You can view the cut and fill quantities for different grid sections of the job site and view a staking report that displays the elevations or cut and fill quantities at each grid intersection.

When you view the Grid tab, you must first select the appropriate grid properties. The grid properties specify how the grid is calculated and displayed in the Grid tab.

You can also view the average haul distance between the cut and fill quantities over the grid. The average haul distance is displayed in the status bar.
