Use the Section tab to view cross sections and profiles of the existing, proposed, and substrata layers.

The top half of the tab displays the Takeoff tab for the selected layer. You can select the cross section or profile you want to see from this half of the tab. The lower half of the tab represents the cross section or profile you selected in the upper half of the tab. You can increase the size of either the upper or lower half of the tab to view that portion of the tab in greater detail by selecting the divider between the two halves and dragging the divider up or down.

You can also view the cut and fill quantities between cross sections. The status bar displays the cut and fill quantities for each cross section or profile. These views display the area between the existing and proposed layers in square feet for selected cross section or profile.
