Making Hourly Salary Increases

Learn how to increase hourly salary for employees.

  1. On the Site Map screen, click Human Resources > Data Entry > Rate Management.
  2. Complete the Selections section of the screen to choose the employee information that will appear in the detail portion of the screen.
  3. In the detail portion of the screen, locate the employee whose hourly rate information you are adjusting. In either the % change column or the New pay rate column, enter the employee's new rate.
    Note: If you enter the rate adjustment as a percentage in the % change column, the new hourly rate will automatically display in the New pay rate column. Similarly, if you enter the new hourly rate in the New pay rate column, the adjusted rate percent will automatically display in the % change column.
  4. Complete step 3 for each additional hourly rate adjustment. When you have made all of the necessary changes, click Update.
  5. In the Update Pay Rates screen, select the Sort by option for the report and click the Preview button.
  6. Once the report has printed, review it for accuracy. After the changes have been verified, click Continue.
