OSHA Forms

Use the OSHA Forms screen to select the type of OSHA forms you want to print . Spectrum supports OSHA form 300, 300A and 301. You can optionally print blank forms to complete manually.

If you opt to have Spectrum calculate the average number of employees (this option can be selected on the Human Resources Installation – Reporting tab), all checks in the specified calendar year are reviewed on an employee-by-employee basis. This calculation is based on the total checks for the employee divided by total checks expected for the employee for the year. If an employee is weekly, you'd expect 52 checks; if that employee only has 13 checks for the year (based on a different pay period end date), then they would count as .25 of an employee. Similarly, if an employee works the entire year, they are calculated as one employee; if they work half a year, they are calculated as half an employee, and so on. All employees (including partial) are then added up to get the average employees during the year. The total is then rounded up to the nearest whole number.

The Establishment Information and Employment Information that display on the report are always going to be for the current company. The data on the left of the report is for the company specified in this report starting screen.

Note: When printing OSHA reports, each report points to one of two sub-reports "behind the scenes" Reports that print the regular reports with records use the first report (for example, the hrOSHA300A_1.rpt), and the reports that print blank or contain no records use the second report (hrOSHA300A_2.rpt).
