What's New in VFP 2024 R4

With the next release of VFP in 2024, we have redesigned the public files logo and buttons in the Permissions window. We have offered the capability to configure an expiration date for the public link that you create against an item or a container.

Improved Public Links

When creating a Public Link against an item, batch of items, or a container, there is now a default expiry date of 90 days. You can select the Expires checkbox in the Make Selected Files Public window and set a desired expiration date. If no selection is made, the default 90 day period will apply.

We have offered the capability to turn off the public file feature at the enterprise/site/project level. Users can't make files or folders public when the Deny Public File feature is enabled and any public files in those locations will no longer be accessible.
