Upload New Drawings Revision

Upload a revision to your drawing, whether it’s from your local computer or from VFP. Drawings that have been revised in VFP will have a Revision tag. If the drawing is being used at a location or has calibrations, you’ll have the option to accept the revised drawing and revise the calibrations.

  1. Go to the Drawings Library in New Web by selecting User menu > Project Setup > Drawings Library.
  2. Confirm you're working in the correct project.
  3. Select the ellipses in the upper right of the drawing in the card view and select Upload New Revision, or select the paper and arrow Upload icon in the grid view. The New Drawing Revision Upload Options window opens.
  4. If needed, change the grayscale or DPI options.
  5. Enter a revision number in the Revision field. This can be a number with a decimal.
  6. Select Add New Revision Drawing.
  7. Navigate to the location of the drawing and click Upload (for VFP) or Open (for your computer).
If you're uploading from VFP, you'll see a message if the drawing hasn't changed.
  8. If the drawing isn’t assigned to any location, click Continue to finish uploading the revision.
  9. Choose Select Location to determine the locations and calibration adjustments for the drawing.
  10. If the drawing is being used and has calibrations, select Adjust Calibrations if necessary and move the calibration points. Click Accept.
Field View displays the Complete Drawing Upload window.
  11. Select the checkboxes for the locations where you want the revised drawing to display.
  12. Choose Assign to Selected Locations.
The Drawings Library displays the revised drawing, and the selected locations update with the revised drawing. Field View does not display older revisions of a drawing in the card view.
