Tender Manager and Bid Manager Communication

A bid project is automatically created when the bid manager accepts to bid on the tender project. The bid project will contain Consultation and Documents containers.

  • Consultation - This is where tender managers and bid managers can communicate by creating tasks. For example, you can create a task to notify an individual of a specific task that needs to be completed or a deadline that needs to be met. Tasks can be created at any point during the bid process.
  • Documents - This is where the bid manager uploads bid return items. Click here for more information.

Users that have the Tender Administrator security group will receive notifications of all communication between bid managers and tender managers, and they can respond to the tasks created by bid managers in the Consultation container.
