Manage Bonus Checks and Final Checks

To prevent employees from seeing bonus checks or final checks in Employee Self-Service, you can set up an other pay type in Spectrum (recommended).

For bonus checks, you can set up an other pay type called BONUS. For final paychecks, you can set up an other pay type called FINAL. Set up other pay types in the Payroll Installation screen in Spectrum.
  1. In Spectrum, select System Administration > Installation > Payroll.
  2. On the Properties tab, use the Description for other 1 pay type or Description for other 2 pay type to add either a BONUS or a FINAL pay type.

Paychecks with a pay type of BONUS or FINAL will not reach your Employee Self-Service portal until one day after the paycheck date.
