Field Tickets Integration with Vista

Vista allows you to integrate Field Ticket information with JC Field Tickets and JC Progress Entry.

Key features of the Field Tickets integration with Vista include:

  • Open Field Tickets can be assigned to progress entry sequences, enabling you to link related costs to specific work activity on a job, and facilitate owner billing.
    • You cannot associate Field Tickets with a status of Closed, Approved, Rejected, or Billed with a progress entry batch in Vista.
  • After Field Tickets are approved in the Field Ticket Dashboard, the approval status is updated in the Vista JC Field Tickets form.
    • In the JC Field Tickets form Ticket Approved By and Ticket Date Approved fields are display only on the Info tab and are only populated when a field ticket is approved in Field Management.

  • Notes and Modified By information can be enabled for view in the Vista JC Progress Entry form.
    • Enable portal setting Enable Last Modified By (Requires udModifiedBy on JC Progress Entry) to autofill the name of the user who modified the progress line. Setting location: Admin > Portal Settings > Progress Entry > General Configuration.
    • Enable portal setting Enable Notes Entry (Requires udNotes on JC Progress Entry) to add a note field on each phase and display notes in Vista JC Progress Entry. Setting location: Admin > Portal Settings > Progress Entry > General Configuration.

    Note: Refresh synonyms after udNotes and/or udModifiedBy fields are added. Admin > Portal Settings > Refresh Synonyms.
