What's New in HR Management for Spectrum 2024 R2

The 2024 R2 release of HR Management for Spectrum introduces a new Earnings Setting to prevent federal exemptions from showing on pay statements. This release is available as of 2/8/24.

Admin Settings

New! Hide Federal Exemptions on Earnings Statement

  • New Earnings Setting allows you to prevent the Federal Exemptions section from showing on employee pay statements in consideration of the Tax Cuts and Job Act (TCJA).

    Under Admin Settings > Earnings Settings, select the checkbox under the new Federal Exemption header to hide federal exemptions on the pay stub template for the selected company. See Configure Earnings Settings for more details.

New! Pay Stubs Notification renamed Earnings Notifications

  • Under Admin Settings > Notification Settings, the Pay Stubs Notification setting has been renamed Earnings Notification, and the setting description has been updated. Enable this setting if you want your employees to receive notifications when they have new pay stubs or tax statements available in their Employee Self-Service portal.     Tip: Notifications are sent to the email address and mobile phone number that employees have listed on their Notification Preferences page. Employees who need help updating their notification preferences can refer to the following article: Manage Notification Preferencesā€‹ā€‹.
