Create a Task Using an Email Drop Box

If the task container has been set up as an email drop box, you can send an email to the email address associated with the task container to create a new task.

  1. Send an email to the address associated with the task container.
    A new task is created in the task container. All users that you sent the email to will be added to Recipients and will receive notifications about the task. Any attachments to the email are attached to the task.
  2. Go to the task container and click on the name of the task.
  3. Under Task Progress, select a user to assign the task to from Assigned To.
  4. Click OK.
