Configure Bulk Add for SM Work Order Lines When SMCo is Showing

On grid timecards, Bulk Add for Mechanic and SM Line Types works as is unless you are showing the SM Company (SMCo) field and have the New Line Behavior set to Employee Default. In this case, you will need to modify your SMCo lookup in Vista. You have two options for doing this.

Note: If you are not showing SMCo on the grid timecard, Bulk Add for Mechanic and SM lines does not use the SMCo or udSMCo lookup Vista. You do not need to modify these lookups in order for Bulk Add to work.

Option 1: If you use custom lookups:

If you use custom lookups, you can set up the udSMCO lookup as instructed here Create an SM Company Lookup.

Option 2: If you do not use custom lookups:

If you do not use custom lookups, clear the parameters for the default SM company lookup (SMCO) in Vista PR Timecard Entry.

  1. Open PR Timecard Entry in Vista.
  2. Open the applicable batch.
  3. On the Info tab, select Field Properties (F4) for the SM Co field.
  4. In Field Properties window, select the Lookups tab.
  5. Delete the Parameters showing for the SMCO lookup.
