Create a Revision for an RFI

You can create a revision of an RFI that has been answered to change or clarify the question and resend it for an answer by going to Projects > RFIs > Other Actions > Create a Revision.

You can create a revision for an RFI if you are the person specified in the From field or a Project Editor. The following information is not copied to the new revision:
  • Status
  • Comments
  • Responses
  • Related Records
  • History
  1. From the home page, under Projects, select the name of the project you want to open.
    Alternatively, go to the main menu in the upper left-hand corner, select Projects, and then select the name of the project you want to open.
    The Dashboard for the project appears.
  2. Select the RFIs tab.
  3. Select the RFI number for the RFI you want to work with.
    Note: The RFI number appears in blue text and becomes underlined when you mouse over it.
    The RFI page appears.
  4. Click the Other Actions button and select Create a Revision.
A revision of the RFI is created and saved as a draft.
